Dr. Mbozi Santebe is a Lecturer in the Department of Historical and Archaeological Studies at the University of Zambia. He is also the Postgraduate Co-ordinator in the department. Dr. Santebe holds a PhD in History from the University of the Free State in South Africa. He researches on the histories of official statistical systems in Central Africa from the colonial period to the present, with a particular focus on Zambia’s official statistics. His research interests and publications also extend to the history of transport and transport safety in Zambia and the impact of global economic crises on the Zambian economy.
